You don't even friggin' understand the basic definition of NIS -- SAN (includes SAN/NAS hybrids) plus NAS (includes SAN/NAS hybrids) less SAN/NAS hybrids -- which IDC has used for nearly 2 friggin' years now. No wonder you keep on going around in circles. The fact still remains that under NIS, EMC maintained its 39% of the market while NTAP dropped from around 14% to 7%. How long can you keep avoiding that issue by fixating on a something that you don't even friggin' understand very well. Again, review your basic defintions of SAN and NAS in private since you view SAN and NAS as mutually exclusive in public. That's ultimately your problem, not mine.
