John, Well put. I am currently focussing on the sequential's efficacy in the small-cap arena. I had asked Duane Davis a few months ago about any correlation between small-cap/tinyfloat and effectiveness of the sequential but got no response. I do know, however, that when you have a "feel" for the chart of a INTC, SUNW, IBM, RII, SMOD, S&P500 etc. the sequential can be extremely useful, still. Thanks for your insight. I hope you will alert us to any impending sequentials that you uncover. An effort toward scrutiny and analysis of factors common to the success or failure of the sequential is the basic idea behind this thread. It only seems as if there has not been alot of contribution toward that end insofar as sequentials and those aware and conversant of the concept are not abundant. Between and during sequential countdown completions contributed, other real-time TA observations are certainly fair game here. Looking forward to your participation, Doug R
