Hi Jim,

Re: It could also be argued that ENE is a slimy organization of vicious crooks who "entrapped" a decent well-meaning group of potential benefactors in order to grab them in its vicious crocodile jaws.........!

Basically, that's about the size of it. Except for your obvious sarcasm regarding a "decent well meaning group". <g>. The really interesting egg-on-the-face act is going to be GWB leanin' on the SEC to go easy, the employee/pension plan victims having their suits put on hold until 2005, and a Presidential pardon granted for Ken Lay in the last days of GWB's single term, with sanctimonious cover from Clinton's disgusting Marc Rich rehabilitation. Then all the right people can live happily ever after. In Lay's case, most likely in the Netherlands Antilles or the Caymans, so that civil suits can't reach him. All in all, the lawyers make money, the execs get rich and there's no joy for the little guy. <g>
