That Us vs. Them thing sure gets my panties in a wad. I look at the big picture of limitless galaxies and star clusters, a certain blue orb, the supernatural and natural forces that somehow created all beauty & balance on the orb, and the imbalance of natural resources that work to the advantage of some... and recognize the luck of being born to a place where a buncha wise guys created a socio-political system of great strengths and opportunities, made moreso by the motivated risk-takers who emigrate here.... And I really wish all could enjoy such luck.... but if any are guilty of terrible crimes, punish them, and not mistreat someone unlucky enough to look like the wrong nationality, because there really is no 'they' except by the artificial constructs of men with an axe to grind. And call me Pollyana, but I believe we can be just as safe without profiling and without undercutting justice with a watery version that does not resemble real justice at all.
