I may be clueless but you have a totally button down mind. Works well in investing but i certainly doesnt in this case.
1. A secure non terrorist palestine with treaties in place would certainly be a plus for both jordan and egypt. Incidentally both jordan and egypt have successfully rid their countries of terrorists.
2. Egypt and Jordan have an interst in peace and prosperity in the region which terrorism precludes. Israel would give up territory in a deal with mutual recognition with US/UN/NATO guarantees.
3. Do not relish the prospect of more displaced palestinians. MOst palestinians want to live in peace even if the polls indicate otherwise. Same with Israelis.
