We're still working on the Ravenswood Vinter's Choice zinfandel. My oldest friend made a pot roast yesterday and my wife showed up with a bottle of the zin per your suggestion. This one was less than $10 and was perfect for the meal, since the pot roast was marinated and highly seasoned and your needed something that could hold its own. There was also part of an already-open bottle of Parallele 45--I think maybe it was DuBoeuf import--which was nice to keep drinking when the zin ran out and I was on my salad.
