IT'S TIME FOR STAMPEDER MANAGEMENT TO STEP ASIDE The recent annoucement and subsequent cancellation of their share issue shows how out of touch with reality managment is and their desire to be big at any cost. I have bought Stampeder based on one fact only. The recent take overs of heavy oil producers in Saskatchewan (CS Resources by PanCanadian and Wascana by Canadian Occidental) begs the question how much longer Stampeder will remain independent. Both Gulf Canada and Talisman were outbid in their attemps to get in on Saskatchewan heavy oil. If we are lucky maybe one of them will now take a look at Stampeder.
