Regus<RGU.L> to outsource IT in 25 mln stg deal LONDON, Dec 3 (Reuters) - Britain's Regus Plc <RGU.L> said on Monday it would outsource its IT support and infrastructure requirements to computer manufacturer Compaq <CPQ.N> in a deal worth 25 million pounds. The deal would cut costs for Regus, a provider of fully serviced offices, by almost 40 percent, the company said. Telecoms firm COLT Telecom <CTM.L> and software group Cedar <CED.L> would help manage Regus's IT requirements alongside Compaq, Regus said. "This outsourcing deal means that we double our service levels, while reducing costs by almost 40 percent," Chief Executive of Regus, Mark Dixon, said in a statement. Regus runs a network of centres in 48 countries, providing workstations and cleaning, security and maintenance services.
