Hi Kat, Thanks for your response. I have had four private messages that can be easily summarized, with my paraphrases to protect the innocent. First, on another day or in another mood, I might have responded; liked the signal to noise ratio. Second, still waiting to find enough time to read them; long enough and dense enough that I can't just grab and digest them in passing. Third, your abstracts of key concept relating to strategic control are an important contribution to the thread. Four, I liked your posts, but am still thinking about them.
I want to thank all of my respondents for taking the time to respond and giving me the feedback that I requested. (I will be sending each of you personal notes.) I can understand that you may not have the time immediately to read and digest what I write. I write essays rather than messages. Like many of you, I often print out and read long posts later when I have the time to think about them, re-reading the ones that I am learning from several times.
So, as long as you are thinking about what I say, I am pleased, whether you agree or not. There is no good reason that anyone should agree with everything that anyone writes. I just wanted to be sure that it sparked an interest before I did more posts of that sort after the holidays.
Your responses have provided me with what I wanted to know. I hope to do some more posts on foundations of the gorilla game and investing, adding commentary where I believe I might have something to say.
I will now understand and expect that there is either enough meat on the bones that it needs chewing, or that you are taking time to separate the wheat from the chaff, or the nugget from the fool's gold. Then, I will hope to hear from you if you feel like responding.
This helped me.
