Which translations?
How about the NASB and the KJV for two of the most popular versions.

The answer lies in the fact that Biblical study has been engaged in from the very beginning. Although biblical Greek ceased from common usage, it was never abandoned by scholars. Indeed, it has been the intense focus of study for two thousand years. That's not to say there are no hurdles where language is involved even as we speak here there is room for misunderstanding, however the plain things are the main things and the main things are the plain things. Which part of these translations are you having trouble with?
