I will keep that in mind. The funny thing was that I did not make a big deal out of it, but some people resented it terribly anyway, taking it as a criticism of their excessive drinking. I found out there was considerable hostility on the part of some of the biggest lushes on campus over my usual iced- tea or coffee. Of course, usually the people I was out with had beer or wine, so obviously I wasn't making a general point.......
