Joe, I posted some preliminary results on a response to wbmw a couple of message ado. The code is a few pages back. The idea is that you have a huge case statement ( the one I tried was 10000 cases long ) and you randomly branch in there for 10 million iterations. I did not quite understand how this will prove that the decoder/trace cache runs at 1/2 speed but I am sure Kap will explain it again once all the results are in. C
