Maurice, Ah, Climber, there's the old 'we can't stop murder or graffiti because it stifles intiative' argument. I don't buy it. Neither do I. And that's not what I said. Why on earth would you want to adopt repressive Sharia law anyway. I don't know why on earth anyone would. But the Saudis clearly have, and flogging is great sport for them. Do they flog in New Zealand? Climber By the way, I've always wanted to visit the Southern Kiwi Alps and pay homage to Ed Hillary. He built the Khumjung school in Nepal from which several of my best Sherpa friends graduated. They think he is a saint, or maybe a bodhisatva.
