Gee Dan, sorry you missed the other two links. Message 16666485 Message 16660694 The only difference between now and 1998, 1999, 2000 & 2001 is that GUMM is less overvalued, but still overvalued. BTW GUMM went up on hype and unrealistic and over optimistic projections. While small cap "story stocks" can be interesting to play (or gamble with is a better term), my objection to your discussion of GUMM (past and present) is you only present one side. I'm not purporting that a long or short position in GUMM is wise (neither is a "sure enough bet" in my book), however my assessment indicates GUMM is overvalued. Certianly if one were to base projections from their results during last cold season GUMM wouldn't justify anything near the present market cap. Thus to get close to justifying their current valuation one needs make a lot of optimistic assumptions about growth/market penitration. No small task for a 1 product company like GUMM. The fact Davidson etc all are cashing out I take to be a sign that it probably won't get much better than it is right now. As I said before the most GUMM holders can hope for is that GUMM sells Zicam to a mojor consumer products company (one who can get shelve space, advertize and leverage whatever Zicam can be leveraged for. mad2
