Believe me, it is a very important distinction...

Well, if you ask a Jew, they might say No we do not! And they have every right too. The characteristics of God to the Jew and Christian are different, and the Jew does not have to acknowledge that their God is the same as the Christian God. (Personally, to the Christian, and myself, they are the same God!) If a Jew denounces Christ as God (or the Trinity), and a Christian embraces Christ as God (and the Trinity), their Gods are a whole lot different! Just by virtue of worshipping one God, does not make them the same God! If the characteristics of the one God they worship are not the same, they have every right to say they not the same God! And besides, many Muslims think Christians are polytheistic by virtue of their worship of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, a further distinction!

What does Abraham have to do with God? Abraham is a prophet, not God! Your question lacks reason to your argument! Please re-explain if I misunderstood the question...
