HKL,
Firstly, from Adam and Eve to Abraham, their paths are the same. From Abraham's sons, Isaac and Ishmael, thats where they split apart.
The Qu'ran picks and chooses some Old Testament and New Testament history. Some quoted verbatim from the bible. Some quoted erroneously, or maybe differently according to the Islamic perspective. That's why you have similiarites. But the message of God, God's salvation specifically, is totally different! The bible states salvation is by grace, the Qu'ran by works. This major distinction really talks about a God with major characteristic differences!
Sure, a site that cites the Palestinian side is out there. Do a search for it! I have read many on both sides. The one I posted seemed to be of the best quality, IMHO!
