I feel that Intel is extremely undervalued at this point, but
I'm finding it very difficult when to predict when the next upswing will
be. My gut feeling is that Intel will move up just prior to the split, and that post-split/post-earnings, it should be trading between 75-80. I think most of the bad news is factored in already (e.g. a flat 3QTR, but improving 4QTR), that is why I'm finding it very difficult to stay on the sidelines. Any hint of optimism in 2QTR conference call, and I think we are back to the races. If Intel continues to remain conservative, then we could be flat the whole summer. I will probably purchase a little in the low 140s just prior to earnings/split, and then see what happens. IMO, it's not a matter of "if", but "when", Intel will move up. good luck.
