It may have moved up $1 but on a measly volume of some 30,000 shares. A while back Mackie announced the board had approved the possibility of share buybacks. Note that it didn't actually conduct a buyback. And why it didn't do one while the stock was wallowing in the 6's I dunno. I dunno, it all seems orchestrated to boost share prices without actually having to do a buyback. The big news with Mackie lately is the lawsuit. Check out mackie.com
