Hi Chip,

banking indexes are always "carnaries" to be followed.

Been using TradeStations Speed Resistence Fan lines for insights into price and time dividing....very interesting. Have you ever spent any time with them...?

I have done some work especially a few years ago with speed resistance lines, they were a very popular topic for
me at one point. and the price and time dividing is an even more interesting aspect.

I've been meaning to try to post a few charts showing a 60 degree and 45 degree time turning point technique that
I was mentioning to Peter M. earlier this fall. It's in the "Astro cycles and speculative markets" book
by L J Jensen.

I think that his technique is an interesting tangent to the speed resistance- Gann angle technique.

John Crane is a CTA who has a brokerage firm in Co if I remember correctly, He has an interesting book on
the timing aspects, especially the reversal day phenomenon that dovetails some of this.

I got a chance to talk with him a fair bit in Oct of 2000, and bought his book.

John
