They took 35 top of the line people from roche, just before we are about to introduce quite a number of new drugs. I would guess in the $90-100,000 range for a rep, and up to $150,000 for a manager.

35 was the maximum by agreement with Roche.

I don't know of any pharmaceutical company that still pays a commission. Usually base plus a bonus and sometimes (as with AGPH) stock options. I think we are hiring in the $40-45 range, thus possible $60 after a year.

p.s. Thank you for my defense. All I can say is there's alot of bugs resistant to penecillin. You're unlucky if you catch one of these bugs. On the other hand, after 50 years, there still is alot of it used because 75% ARE NOT RESISTANT. As AIDS is not contagious the same way an airborn bacteria is, resistantance would be very localized. Anyone who thinks resistance would develop spontaneously nationwide, does not know what they are talking about.
