"Abortion and infanticide have a long but quiet history"

I would suggest that it has been "quiet" because killing an unborn child is kind of an appalling act to commit.

"That's not equavalent to people being "for it"."

It does amaze me though how many people are for it. Particularly women. It is a tricky issue, but too many people feel that if the result of their "fun" behavior (having sex) results in the predictable RESPONSIBILITY of raising a child they might as well KILL it. The whole business of the pro-abortion people trivializing this issue (calling themselves pro choice for example) just makes it easier for society to accept this careless disregard for human life. The progression of this mindset is troubling to me in that it used to be "quiet", now it is not. This country can't even pass a law to make it illegal to kill an unborn child in the third trimester. Who knows, in another 20 or 30 years maybe the TigerPaw age limit of one to two years old will be accepatable. After all, you have admitted that the only reason you feel that people should not have that "right" is that the birth is relatively "easy to define". You guys should be able to wriggle around that little technicality in a few years, right?
