Well, they were all for going after Arafat and Saddam, and the General was urging caution. Sort of like saying, Arafat has not made the final mistake. I think he has gone too far. He made the final mistake a long time ago. I disagreed with the General.

As for garage mechanics, I think it is foolish to trust them too much. If someone takes there car to a shop and says, "I do not know what's wrong with my car, will you fix it please?", the odds are pretty good that person is going to get ripped off badly. But if you go in and say, please replace my alternator, and if the alternator is the problem, then you will probably come away ok.

I do not know who Eugene Narrett is, but one of my favorite sites is toogoodreports.com and everyday they have a quote of the day, and this is today's, and I think it is a good point.

“Any genuine peace process is based on peace for peace, as in 'you give us peace, we give you peace. You attack us, and we give you hell on earth.' That is what America is doing in Afghanistan and, hopefully, about to begin without BS in anthrax-central, Iraq. Yasser Arafat has a far bloodier bio than Usama bin Laden. But because he is the contractor for destroying Israel, Arafat has been made into a statesman who never makes the final mistake.”
