Bobby Fischer's deductive reasoning in chess obviously does not extend to people, since he is quite the megalomaniac and racist.
Everyone does however, group people, myself included.
Personally, I try to keep things simple. Race, religion, gender, age, wealth, status, good looks, and ability among other things are poor indicators to make sweeping generalizations with. I attempt to evaluate people individually by a single criteria which has worked well for me. In my world people are either assholes or they are not. I apologize for the language, but I have never found a more fitting term. It is just one of those things which transcends many things mortals place value on. Either you are or you are not and Bobby Fischer definitely is.
