Haim, Can you enlighten me as to the legitimacy of the creation of Israel as a Jewish state? I confess my ignorance in history on this point and please don't misinterpret my question in any way provocative. I have seen Israel exhibit remarkable patience and a true determination to achieve peace. I support her right to defend herself and I think the US should show more support for Israel. I can only pray that we are suppporting Israel behind the scenes in substantive ways. I have friends who have been personally affected by terrorist attacks in Israel during this last year. My heart bleeds for the victims and I truly think that Israel is our only true ally in the middle east. Please help me understand this point in history and if the answer is too complex for this forum, please point me towards some reading material. HH
