The 2nd solution won't be faster; in fact, it might be a little slower, if only by a few percentage points. But it will definitely be cheaper, and like I said before, integrated graphics aren't meant to have cutting edge performance. (Not to belittle nForce, which itself is a huge step up from Intel's integrated graphics. But then again, Intel's solution has not changed much since 1999.)
