Help/Question:

I've been writing covered calls for about a year now, and have never
had the options go "in the money" before.

What is the likelihood that someone will exercise these options,
and that I will have to sell the underlying stock ??

I trade on Etrade; wrote Dec 55 calls for about 3.50, and currently
the stock is trading at $60 while the options are trading for about 5.50.

Etrade claims that exercised options are randomly distributed/assigned
among those who have written covered calls.

While I'd be OK finally selling at 55, I'm just wondering how likely it is
that the options will expire unexercised ...

much thanks,

steve
