Could have been a couple of cholos locos high on who knows what. No big enmity between Israel and Mex., especially now, so the Mossad angle doesn't ring true. There is no credible answer to the requisite "Why?" question. The ones that come to mind are too contorted to make sense.

Probably a couple of independent Loony Tunes intent on mischief. If it happened as the reports suggest, a big if.
