I guess we'll have to agree to disagree since your arguments seem to all stem from premises I do not accept.

I browsed through swedenborg.com and note that he believed that the Last Judgement occurred in 1757 and that the Second Coming was then fulfilled. Once again we seem to have an ex-Christian who strives to incorporate elements of Christianity into his own system. I guess I really don't understand the need by so many to "improve" or "perfect" Christian theology. When I embraced Christianity I accepted it as is. When I moved beyond it I did so without regret. I am happy for all who find meaning and comfort in whatever faith they follow as well as for those who follow no faith at all.
