CT...I think we're talking about two different things, here. I was responding to RD. He derided the current administration's planning, which is; to put a small amount of individuals social security account into equities. The democrats like to use current history (the past eighteen months) as a bellwether for their cause. The republicans on the other hand use the model that I pointed out to RD, which uses only the bluest of the blue chips as a vehicle it which to invest a small percentage of individuals' accounts. I might add, that I think that this option would be up to the individual. Yes, I have some of the very blue, however I have a good selection of that which most of us ate last Thursday.(G)
