Well, I just wanted to make sure that FAB 25
was being used. It sounded, from some other
posts, like it was sitting itle. But from your
information, it must be pretty bussy. But for
only 200k chips sold, they must be storing
alot of chips. I wonder if they have an OEM,
and they are getting ready to supply them.

Anyways, IBM is only supplying a .35u process
for Cyrix, and the .25u process of AMD might
be more profitable if it was possible to use
it. Of course the reason that IBM is only suplying
the .35u process might be that Cyrix hasn't gotten
things ready for the .25 process yet. But the
fact that Cyrix makes a 150MHz chip at .35u means
that at .25 it should go faster and be much more
profitable than the 100Mhz chip that AMD is producing.
It might be just a little more profitable than the
K5. Also, with only 200k K5's sold, and the same #
of 6x86's, and #s ramping up, maybe it would be
easier to keep the FAB fully utilized for a while
if it did both. Is it possible to have a fab producing
two chips at the same time? I think it should be.

Just some more of my crazy ideas.

Terje
