let's not exaggerate. the Middle East has been in a state
of chaos as far back as I can see (roughly 35 years!).

semi-equip companies will lag the recovery in the
chip sector. Since recovery is seen coming 2H02,
recovery in semi-equip should only become very
obvious Q4 02. Nothing to panic about...

Sure companies are saying things are not good. But
companies have really NO ability to forecast the
future. They didn't see the downturn coming and they
won't see the upturn until it's well under way. With
interest rates THIS low, gasoline prices THIS low,
bargains to be found in stores everywhere, I am betting
you the recovery is very very close at hand. The stock
market seems to agree.
