GRAND MANAN ISLAND...Anyone Been There??? Hello Whoever, I'm thinking of going to Grand Manan Island this summer... you know, off the New Brunswick coast in the Bay of Fundy. If you've been there and know anything about it, why not post some info here? I'm particularly interested in Bed & Breakfasts or perhaps renting a cottage. If you went out to see whales, or went bird-watching on the surrounding islands, I would be interested in knowing whose tour you took. How long did the ferry take to get to the Island? Did you have to make ferry reservations very long in advance? What did you think of the island... was it really quiet, nice, scenic, etc... I've heard it's amazing, but want to hear more before I take off... Thanks to anyone in advance. Bev
