Headline tonight: "ExciteAtHome to cease operation, AT&T cancels purchase"

The debtors who funded ExciteAtHome tried to play hardball with AT&T in the bankruptcy, and AT&T pulled the plug on them. I think it goes to show you that if you are bankrupt, you don't have much leverage, there goes 300+million bucks they could have gotten. I don't blame AT&T. It does look like INSP got firesale prices, I dont think this pull out will affect INSP's chunk of the business.
Due to a cash infusion by the other two players who want the broadband customers, Cox is one I forget the other, Excite is going to run til the end of Feb so how's my driving gal you should be ok til then, it will give you time to switch to something else. If you can get Road Runner I recommend it, I have had a very good experience with it, compared to AT&T I might add.
