I'll admit that my ignorance is only surpassed by your arrogance. :-))

As for the report, I'll leave the consequences to you, but so far Intel has not implemented the new FASB rule, according to their 10-Q form. The only rule they have implemented saved them a measly $45 million. Of course, if you do your own taxes, I'd find it hard to believe you try and find some ways to make use of publicly available rules to save money. These rules appear to be nothing more than related to write-offs, in a way. Creative accounting would suggest that Intel used illegal means to hide losses, instead of publicly available rules.
