Not real likely. If anything gets pulled in, it will be Barton, not the Hammers. Why? Risk. Barton is basically a Tbred on SOI, not a whole lot of changes aside from potentially a faster FSB. Hammers have a lot more changes. In addition, Barton has a much larger potential market. Barton is slated for 2H02, starting wafers in early Q102 would mean an introduction in mid-Q302 instead of late Q402 as a 2H02 date would normally indicate.

Of course, AMD might do a "limited production" of Hammers like Intel did with Itanium. With their latest moves in PR, they very well may do something like that...

I wonder if shareholders could get some "limited production" units?...
