Hawk, I concur with your thinking and the FED has been doing the most pragmatic thing.

It could be that the break down of Brenton Woods in the early 70's has put us on a 30 year credit Proliferation that
has been a wild bucking bronco that the FED has been constantly trying to keep from leaving the
Reservation.
