Re: Segway. They look pretty cool to me too. But truthfully, how much better are they than, say, a bike? I work less than two miles from my home and yet I drive to work every day. I could ride my bike or my son's scooter very easily. Why don't I? Because I may have to run somewhere after work or the weather may be bad, or I'm pushed for time. There are a hundred reasons and the "Segway" doesn't answer any of them. I'm dubious that it will ever amount to more than those wheelie things the kids have on their shoes.
