V1--to continue the Prostascint saga, below is Puddy's reply to your post. What is your opinion on the Blend procedure? I have heard a comment that it will be difficult to use because it requires the patient to be still for 40 minutes. However, it would seem to me relatively easy to accompish that by the same IV procedure they use on me when I have a colonoscopy. Regarding his last suggestion, perhaps we could get a list of PIE sites and somehow notify them of the Blend procedure? Or perhaps they are already aware of it? Anway, his reply:

>>FDA approval is NOT required, and I don't want anyone to mislead anyone, if that was the impression people recieved.

However, in order for Cytogen to PROMOTE the scan, it needs to be approved. Remember, Cytogen is one of the ONLY companies who strives NOT to piss off the FDA.....it upsets us, often, but in the long run, it is the right thing to do.

Cytogen won't promote this until they are allowed to do so, but anyone can use the method if they learn about it.

I wish I could send a copy of the article to EVERY PIE site....hmm...could we arrange that??<<
