I think you are right in saying that we are not too far apart on these things. They probably seem silly to most but they have profound ramifications. Christ could not actually sin or become a sinner without corrupting the very nature of God, since Christ is the second person of the Trinity, as well as being fully human. It is a mistake to reverse the old adage "to err is human", to read, "to be human is to (necessarily) err".

As far as Jesus decent into Hell that is debated, and in and of itself, presents problems, since it is possible that He went to Abraham's bosom/paradise. Indeed he told the thief on the cross with Him "this day you shall be with me in paradise" See Luke !6: and the story of the rich man in hell. Hell, (in English) has several different nuances of meaning, depending on the original language used. and it's not clear what the AC is referring to. All that coupled with the fact that the addition of "descended into Hell" was done at a later time, leaves a lot of latitude for discussion.

Must run.
