Twister:
You State: > Sunw, with 1/10 (and counting) of the market value of msft, is the DOG and Msft, with 10x (and counting) the market value of sunw is the TAIL.
Well, I am not sure what you are implying but allow me to state the following facts:
1. MSFT has a P/E of around 57 - SUNW has a P/E of about 20 2. MSFT is selling at 15 times its sales - SUNW is at about 1.6 3. The entire industry (including Microsoft) is adapting to what comes out of Sun Microsystems (and its subsidiary SunSoft). Therefore considering this fundamental fact I can conclude Sun will have a much higher growth rate than Microsoft (perhaps not immediately but it is definitly going toward that direction. And if you do not believe it just take a look at Sun's revenue growth rate for the past 2 years.
So now I ask you which is overvalued and wich is undervalued! Microsoft will survive and will continue to make huge profits. There is no doubt in that, after all it is true: the paranoid will survive... However, this survivorship will not go beyond anything but survivorship! Microsoft can no longer define the standards, therefore it will not, and I repeat it will not, be able to maintain its past glorious impressive rate of growth.
You can go ahead and argue and if you are a MSFT fanatic fan you can even convince yourself with those arguements, but when you are alone and think logically put all the pieces together and you will be able to see the reality.
You state: > What a wonderful world. Ohhhh. What a wonderful world. Wasn't it Communism that PREACHED no losers Addi?
First of all I dont see why you have taken a personal attack tone in your response. We are simply expressing opinions. Secondly I am not sure if I understand what you are attempting to imply. The analogy I used with Communism being Wintel, and Capitalism being Sun and its partners was directed to express that, similar to how the old communism would tell people: dont worry, the big brother is here to take care of you and no one had a choice in decision making process, Wintel has been behaving in a similar manner. While in a capitalistic society people do have chices and it is the free decision making process that brings prosperity to the mass public. What Sun Microsystems (and it partners) are proposing are choices and breaking the Wintel laws of captivity!
Again, Twister, wrong or right these are just my humble opinions, and nothing more!
