Where is the link that the trace cache runs at half speed? sysopt.com The trace cache is an extremely high speed buffer operating at full CPU speed with an extremely low latency. ... extremetech.com The Pentium 4 decoder can only convert a single x86 instruction on each clock, fewer than other architectures.
