You guys are all full of self righteous chit. The kid was 16 when he found himself in Yemen.
He ends up in Afghanistan after being involved in Kashmir. Ok, now he's 20 or 22?
This is not a declared war. No matter what this guy says at the moment he did not commit any of the 911 events.
And ...what? He is going say to the people around him, " Oh, Hey I'm an American, I want to go home now that it suddenly seems there are Americans on the other side." And he gets what? a shot in the head. (This is not a unique case, and there were many like this in WWII , involving both US and other citizens who were minors when they were brought into opposing forces.)
GD, I understand how you feel, and you have that right, but the kid deserves a chance to be heard. And We should at least take the time to understand what the guy went trough before we condemn his ass to hell.
