Jack,

If you do happen to forget it and can't find where you wrote it down, you are out of luck. Since Windows 2000 is based on Windows NT, you MUST provide a password to access the computer. There is NO way that you, myself, or anyone else can access the computer without that password.

By default, Windows does not show "Administrative Tools". Administrative Tools will allow you to create another account on the computer in case you forget the password to your main account, you have another login that you can use that has the same rights as you do.
