Points to consider- The FAA has yet to order the luggage scanners that the US airports need to screen checked-in baggage 100% as the recently passed congressional bill directs. What happens when the FAA orders 100 machines, 200 machines or the 2,000 that are needed to screen US checked-in luggage. The stock moved big on the FAA order for the 100 portals, not scanners. Portals are another product in the Invision arsenal. Can also be used in buildings for increased security. The stock moved big on the French deal worth $27 million for scanners. Bet the French wanted to get more on order before the FAA ties them up. The French already have the scanners in Orly and CDG and the French know terrorism all too well. Histeria or fundamentals, the FAA has only worked with Invision. who do you think they are going to order scanners from. The need is to get people to fly again. Increasing airport security is a hot ticket. Looks like a real winner. Invision sales last year were $71 million. Only 13 million shares outstanding. The bottom line will improve with the top. Invision made a profit, a small one before Sept. 11th. Invision can ramp from 7 machines a month to 30, so they say. Much of the machine is sent as a major sub assembly which makes it easier to increase the volume. My bet is they will get the opportunity to prove it. Momentum is a good thing. In at $8.66. One guys spin.
