Unlike you, I do not assume the general corruption of corporate America, or the inefficacy of capitalism. Yes, I think that allowing the retention of profits will largely produce more productive investment, which is in the interest of shareholders, and ultimately in the best interests of the officers of the company. Even were there more consumption, that would just stimulate certain sectors of the economy. More corporate jets means more jobs to build and staff them, more men on the assembly line, more pilots and navigators, more maintenance crews, etc. You have a very narrow vision.....
