RE:These guys will probably be responsible for a lot of pensioners either freezing or starving to death in the near future... It appears that a lot of Enron's business was not regulated much due to political payments being made to the right people to prevent legislation from being passed. Even Phil Gramm's wife was on the board of directors, I believe. If history repeats itself, a couple of fall guys will be sent to an easy jail for a few years and the rest will reap most of the benefits of their unethical practices. Maybe campaign finance reform will become a hot issue again. If deaths could be blamed on these guys and one or two of them went to the electric chair in Texas(which executes more than any other state), that would really make others think twice, but it's never going to happen.
