Credit Exposure to Enron Likely Exceeds $33 Billion, S&P Says
By Terence Flanagan

New York, Dec. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Credit exposure to Enron Corp., the energy trader that has filed for bankruptcy, likely exceeds $33 billion worldwide, Standard & Poor's said.

The exposure is not concentrated in any industry or country, and potential losses ``do not appear to be life threatening, at least on the basis of initial reports, to any institution'' S&P said in a report.
