So that's his way of backing off from his "Intel stuffing the channels" drumbeat of the last year or so. Guess we should take it as a positive opinion move on his part, but I still wouldn't trust him with a ten foot Pole, or two five foot Lithuanians.

I saw Kumar on CNBC today. Pretty much same song as others recently, Intel should guide to high revenue end. But, with the 70% upward move on the stock, expect some profit taking. Also said he doesn't see full recovery of the PC market 'til 2003. Mark Hanes asked him about his opinion of AMD now, whom Kumar has called roadkill in the past, but they seem to be more competitive now. Kumar replied that Intel is breaking away even more now in performance from AMD.
