well, i've seen the slave wages comments several times already, and i wanted to point out that things are not as clear cut as they seem at first glance. of course people that don't know SA very well would come to the wrong conclusions when merely looking at exchange rates.
that said, the SA gold miners ARE making a lot of money right now, and that can only be positive for everyone involved, including the workers.
