hawk-
thanks for your perspective, i guess i cannot disagree, as you have provided much background of why things are the way they are. i had only skimmed your responses yesterday, but printed them and read them today.
arafat should be eliminated, sounds like you agree.
"will to survive" and will to destroy me" is good, because that's what it boils down to as you stated.
maybe i am incorrect in my one main conclusion that my writings were trying to point out:
jews will always be hated by some portions of other religions...especially muslims....and that muslims will forever spawl extremists that will kill jews and the staunch supporters of jews.....and that this terror and killing will not end, it can only be minimized over time. the killing by these crazies is not because of our prosperity.... it is because of our freindship with the jews of israel that occupy a sacred place, and it is part of crazy culture to hate jews. the crazies get more bang for the buck (attention to the cause) by attacking america. attacks on america put my family and descendants in danger.
this is where i stand right now, and this was the point of my articles. you have made me feel less conviction for this view, but i still think it is correct. no, i have never been to jews..com and i did piss off one of my jewish buddies. i am not a jew hater at all. is Jew a derogatory term? (asking you seriously) i dont try to be PC, but i assume jew is ok to use, if it isnt...is there some guilt or shame?
i can see why israel takes the position it does, but i wish i didnt have to be a part of it right or wrong. this mess needs real leadership and we need to solve it as best we can now, NOT FOLLOWING ISRAEL'S LEAD. i can see the USA brokering an agreement and being involved in the strict enforcement of it.
religious differences are not logical and cannot be reasoned between parties. they always boil beneath, even when temporary agreements are made.
i do not believe every little pipsqueak group of people needs a formal homeland, that wasnt the point i was trying to make. i agree withe your native american assessment- we stole it fair and square...within the de facto world rule of law at the time. |
